It has been rightly said that a healthy body contains a healthy mind, and a healthy mind makes the body healthier. Yoga promises the same to its practitioners.
As the leading Face Yoga expert with 10 years experience teaching millions, I always wanted to work on a project that would help me understand the basics of Yoga, and Face Yoga is a vast discipline that covers many fields: physical, philosophical and spiritual. Why do I love it so much? Because it is a completely natural holistic way of having great skin, but it is so much more than that. By practicing a series of facial exercises, you can learn to tone the muscles beneath the facial skin and increase facial circulation and blood flow, which results in a more youthful and radiant complexion. My vision is for us all to fully embrace and love who we are, inside and out. So, I set out to investigate if making these targeted (not to mention ridiculous) facial expressions can really prevent- and even reverse-wrinkles and sagging.
Practicing asanas and pranayama has improved my face, body and health. In the beginning, I could feel my mind was more relaxed and focused. But in the past few years, my mind became more anxious and I began to question what yoga really meant for me. I started feeling unhappy because I was stuck practicing asanas, and couldn't feel any significant changes taking place in my life. I wanted yoga as a lifestyle, but didn't know how to go about it. I, then, decided to embark upon a Journey that could help me to understand Face Yoga The face has a connected system of 57 muscles that need regular exercise just the way the body does. You may be wondering how the face can strike the impossible poses the body can, but simple stretching exercises can go a long way in restoring youth and vitality to our faces. The focused movements boost circulation, bringing extra oxygen to the brain and essential nutrients to the face, leading to toned facial muscles, and healthier skin and hair Face Yoga can also be called a part of Sukshma yoga, that can be practiced anywhere, and needs no preparation. The exercises are simple, short and subtle.
If we told you that you could gain all of the face-firming. slimming and tightening benefits of a facelift without ever going under the knife, would you believe it ? It sounds too good to be true, but just like any other fitness regimen, exercising the muscles in your face, can result in improved tone and slimness.
I love being able to give people the opportunity to enjoy holistic health at their own home and I am lucky enough to be able to do through this book "Miracles of Face Yoga: Self Transformation with Mansi Gulati."
