C. Mani (b. 28 May 1923) Indologist, art critic and tibetologist, has taught history at the Univerisity of Allahabad and Asian History and Archaeology at the Tibetan Institute Sarnath for more than two decades. He has been a founder member of the Institute. His Contribu-tions to journals and participation in national and international calloquay have been innovative. He is a prolific writer of renown. Based in classical studies and with editorial specifications in addition to his creative writings he has edited Hindi Encyelipedia (12 volumes), Sanskrit (3 volumes) Madhyamika Dialectic and the Philosophy of Nagarjuna and Arya Asanga and Vijnanavda.
