Wise men see life as a book in which you can't turn the pages back to re-read them. There is no going back to the days that are past. We can't read the pages in advance either: the only reality is the page of the here and the now - the living moment that is our present!
Therefore, Rev. Dada J.P. Vaswani tells us: "The past is a cancelled cheque; the future is a promissory note; the present is the only cash in hand: let us use it wisely and well!"
Liberation and Salvation are the goals of this, our human life; and we all know they are obviously for the life hereafter: True, life hereafter is what we are preparing for; but part of the preparation is to live life fully in the present. For, as Rev. Dada tells us in the present collection of talks, life is God's greatest gift to us, and He certainly did not intend that we should fritter it away constantly looking back at past regrets or aimlessly fantasising an unreal future.
"Walk with God today and trust Him for the morrow!" is the essence of Rev. Dada's message to us in this, the Fifth Volume of his inspiring discourses in Sindhi, translated into English for the benefit of thousands upon thousands of his admirers all over the world. Page after thought- provoking, spiritually uplifting page, brings home to us Rev. Dada's words of wisdom: "Experience the beauty of the wonderful world of nature. Enjoy the present moment. Delink the here and the now from both the past and the future and discover the true joy of life."
Dada J. P. Vaswani has been admired the world over for his soul-stirring, inspiring speeches to seekers on the path. Many of his talks in English have already been published as books. But his beautiful and uplifting talks in Sindhi have, until now, remained inaccessible to the general reading public. A humble attempt to translate these talks into English has been made keeping the spirit and message of the talks intact.
This compilation is the fifth volume in the series for the benefit of fellow aspirants and pilgrims on the path, who would otherwise be bereft of Rev. Dada's timeless messages in Sindhi.
