‘M’, Who was born in Kerala in 1949, spent many years of his life as a traveler on the path before he met his great master in the, Himalayas. This meeting thoroughly overhauled his though processes and brought about a lasting change in his consciousness.

Following his master’s instruction he spent many more year closely observing the activities of different famous gurus of that time before launching The Sat sang Foundation.

He is at home in the lore of all religions and their inner mysticism. Some call him a yogi or a baba, some a vedantin and some others and some others a Sufi but he prefers to call himself just ‘M’. Given the name Mumtaj Ali by his Muslim parents, ‘M’ has discarded what he calls ‘the outer shell of all formal religions’.

He lives on the outskirts of Madanapalle in Andhra Pradesh, 140 kms from Bangalore in his house’ Snow white’. He travels off and on for lectures and is available for all discussions, clarification, help and guidance in spiritual matters. He is a Grihasta, not a monk married and has two children.
