Great and legendary personalities like Ashoka, Buddha, Nanak and other Maha Aurobindo Ghosh, Vivekanand, Ramatirtha, Mahatma Gandhi sikhs, Avered the ignorant masses from slumber and showed the right, righteous, virtuous, pious and sacred path, so that they could improve their present lot and also endeavour to improve present lot for a better rebirth, provided one believes in the theory of rebirths All the great men were the religious, social and political reformers who had one goal, but often adopted different ways and paths to impart knowledge to the common and elite, poor and rich, low and high, ignorant and enlightened persons.

Every profounds of a specific faith had to face stiff resistance from religious, social, political leaders of their time and it was no mean a task to establish a new code of religion, thought, conduct, ethics or reforms. So, multiple problems were also glared in their faces which in fact, compounded their problems. But great determination and tenacity can only be tested when an existing system and practices are faced squarely and boldly, without attracting and dispense, rancour and ill-will. Human nature longs for new changes but, when such changes actually surface, embedded and ingrained habits and practices, coupled with customs, traditions and practices, do not exit easily. Buddha had also to grapple with and wage a war against the established practices, but his charismatic personality enamoured majority of populance towards him.
