Life is a short journey on the planet earth and if we live our life with this dictum, the world would he a much nicer place to live in and life would be more pleasant. In all that we do, if our thoughts and intentions are noble and if we cultivate an earthy sense of humour, our journey on earth would be all the more fun. If we discover the humour in any area, activity or situation or view it from a zany perspective, everything falls into place much faster.
Life is nothing, but a quotation that needs sincere effort to understand and realise it.
Life is not static. It is never the same again. Joy and sorrow, rise and fall, fame and defame are part of life. None can escape from these hard realities of the life.
One must learn to live a peaceful and dignified life in all circumstances, and for that we need inspiring thoughts, ideas and adventurous life stories of great men to enrich our own thoughts. No philosophy or thought is complete. One must see the things from different angles.
This book is having 100 quotations on Life, carefully chosen, mixed, modified and created and have been supported by 100 illustrative’ and thoughtful paintings of Lord Krishna, which will definitely please you. The paintings have been created by our team of professional artists keeping in mind the theme of each individual quote. The main aim of this book is to make you realise and understand that the life is not as difficult as it seems to be, if lived properly and in the right spirit.
Some of the thoughts presented are ours, and others are from the people who have stood by and worked for the values, some of whom were famous names and some others were ordinary people. We have tried to indicate in the acknowledgement page, names of the persons whose quote we have reproduced, wherever we could remember. Any amendment/addition in this regard is most welcome from the learned readers.
Our sincere thanks are due to Albert Einstein, Arnold Glasow, Byrd Baggett, Chin Ning Chu, Dennis Castillo, Flip Wilson, Greg Evans, Harold Taylor, John Randolph, Marcus Aurelius, Napoleon Hill, Oliver Goldsmith, Rahindranath Tagore, Robert Brault, T S. Eliot, William Faulkner and other eminent writers, philosophers, who have given such invaluable thoughts to this world towards spiritual enrichment.
