The practice of Meditation expands our consciousness towards the real nature and can help us "recognise our true Self. The normal state of our consciousness must be moulded by the influence of the real Spiritual Ego via the Antahkarana over the lower self. Meditation can help make greater contact with our Higher Manas because it turns or opens our lower manas towards the Higher. This takes place not only in the sitting meditation but must also be done in daily life. For that the body serves as the vehicle for the "growth" and the transformations through Manas and owing to the accumulation of experiences of the finite into the INFINITE, of the transient into the Eternal and Absolute".
The leader must be an expert in the subject, have an iron discipline, have a healthy competition and be sympathetic. With these things the leader must have a sense of proportion, a sense of humor, a sense of dignity what we call a magnetic personality. The magnetic personality does not lie on the external beauty of the Leader. This transformation of a leader comes from meditation. Meditation is a discipline involving the management of the mind, the cultivation of concentration and one-pointedness, and is initially intended to harmonize the various components of the self. Such internal harmony will bring about a condition where the individual may draw closer to the spiritual level of being.
