About the Book
Born in Rawalpindi, immediately after independence, Brigadier Bali moved with his family to Delhi, where he did his education and got his master's degree in English. He subsequently joined Indian Army Studies) from Defence Services Staff college (Wellington).

Brigadier V.K. Bali (Retd.) and also did his M.Sc (Defence Widely travelled both within the country and abroad Brigadier Bali retired after almost four decades with Indian Army including National Security Guards (NSG-Black Cat Commandos), to pursue what he always wanted to, but was prevented by soldiering priorities. Route to Roots (R2R) is thus his cherished indulgence which took round about seven years of relentless research and consequent articulation on paper, with a zeal to reintroduce our ancient scriptures to the present and future generations.
