Book Description
About the Book
This book is all about the accession of Kashmir with the Indian Dominion and the selfish and dishonest manipulation of the same since its execution in 1947. The book explores the truth as to why the ruler of Kashmir had taken such a drastic step, with what motive and under what compulsions. How has it been manipulated? The role of the people and the popular movements has also been brought forth. The sufferings of the people, the course of the political developments and the political culture before as well as after the accession has empirically been traced. The aboriginality of the freedom movement of Kashmiris and the expected future course of developments have been explored and prophesied respectively. Some suggestions to circumvent the obstacles in the way of Kashmir resolution at local, national and international levels have been made. For all that, what revolves round the accession, as a pivot at the centre of the issue, the stake holders, the people of Kashmir, governments of India, Pakistan and Kashmir, the security forces, the separatists, the militant groups and the political parties could not escape a criticism in the book. The most important thing that has been made a note-point in the book is 'justice be done to Kashmiris, they won't stop their struggle unless they receive justice because they are not cowards'.
