Astrologer Kanak Bosmia was born in the small town of Amreli in Saurashtra (Gujarat - India). He completed his studies up to the 12 grade at Bhavnagar. In 1977, he came to Ahmedabad and started his own business. In 1979, he developed a keen interest in astrology while he traveled on his many business trips to various cities of India, during which he referred to, and studied, many books on astrology, and met with many learned astrologers all over India.

He joined a school of astrology and was honoured with the titles of Jyotish Visharad, Jyotish Ratna, Jyotisha Acharya, and Jyotish Visharad (KP). In the year 1996, he took up astrology as his main profession, and from 1999 onwards he adopted KP Astrology in its totality and attained mastery in the system of Krishnamurthy Paddhati (KP).

His articles are published ished in many magazines like:1) Jyotish Deep (Gujarati); 2) Jyotish Samhita (Gujarati); 3) Jyotish Deepak (Gujarati); 4) Punjab Keshri (Punjab's leading newspaper-Published in Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu); 5) KP and Astrology (English, published from Chennai); 6) KP E-Zine (World's first E-Magazine on KP); 7) International KP Journal (Published from Hyderabad);8) Express Star Teller (Published from Chennai); and 9) KP Astro Science (First Hindi magazine on KP System-Published from Mathura).

He is the author of three books 1) KP Muhurat-A novel Technique in KP (English) Published in 2009; 2) Easy way to learn KP - Birth time rectification (English) Published in 2015 and 3) Krishnamurty Padhdhaty- Ek Abhinav Drashtikon (Gujarati) Published in 2017.

He is the translator of two books by Late Shri C. R. Bhatt: 1) Prashna Jyotish (English) Published in 2013; and 2) Jyotish Abhigyan (English) Published in 2017.

He is the editor of the world's first e-Magazine on KP published under the title "KPEzine". He has conducted many KP workshops all over India.

Jyotish Abhigyan was published in 1984 in Gujarati. These books were not available. I learnt KP through Late Shri Chandrakant R. Bhatt's Guajarati books. This is one of them. I never met Shri Chandrakant Kaka personally, but he is my 'Manas Guru. I learnt KP like Eklaya from Late Shri Chandrakant R. Bhatt's Gujarti books. Since long back I thought to publish English translation of these books in honour my Guruji Late Shri Chandrakant R. Bhatt.

This is my second book that I am translating. I sincerely hope that it will be useful to everyone practicing K.P. system.
