Vastu Shastra are essentially part of Vastu Vidya. It entails architecture, design theories, structure from ancient India and the ancient text recorded in the form of books, manuscripts, traditions, diagrams, carvings on the walls of cave and numerous other descriptions over centuries. It depicts forms, designs, layouts etc of temples, cities, citadels, granaries, individual adobes, community establishments etc.
