About the Author

No! I am not a poet nor an author! I believe I am one of those billion souls trying to spill out their emotions by writing. It's an innate quality. You discover it in yourself. It needs a lot of dedication, sincerity and responsibility. I never thought of becoming an author, it is a prestigious thing to be an author. Sometimes, we do not realize the emotion that persists inside us, when I start writing it helps me to access those emotions that I never knew existed. Indeed, I loved my clash with the words. I loved the feeling of composing my thoughts in words. I loved the compassion in me after writing. Writing stories is a way to crystallize experiences and articulate your hopes, dreams and memories.

I wrote my first poem at the age of 12 for my school magazine. With a heart of Innocence, I wrote something which suddenly I realized was nothing but a rhyming sequence of words. Since then, whenever I find myself struggling with inner thoughts, I shuffle some words present in my thoughts. I pen it down. Whenever I feel low or happy I start writing, it is my way to deal with the situation and pen down my feelings and thoughts, it is my lifeline and my salvation that makes me feel better.

Introduction

(Character genealogy)

Greetings friends, my name is Veydant, and I reside in a small town and serve as a temple priest. Once at four in the morning during summer, I was woken out of a deep sleep. I was frightened and anxious. My wife, who was sleeping next to me, also awoke and asked what happened. I said in return, "I had a nightmare."

I saw in the dream that I was a priest in heaven, but I was not performing my duties properly. As a result, the lord came and cursed me, that I would be born on earth as a tree. When I asked for his forgiveness, he granted me a blessing that allows me to speak even as a tree, and when the time is right, I can sacrifice my life by aiding someone in need! Both my wife and I were worried.

There was a temple on the outskirts of the town in which I served my duties.

As the day went on, a few people gathered in the temple complex to wait for the priest to finish their prayers and ceremonies. However, the priest was late.

It was a small town and there was only one temple on the bank of the river to perform rituals. There were only two priests in the whole temple, Aryan and Myself (Veydant), and both of us were not present in the temple at that moment.

Today is 15th December. Most of them were waiting for the priests to arrive. Among them were Anurag, a middle-aged guy in his fifties, Raman, also in his early fifties, Raghavan and Yamini, who were with their son Ahaan, and Daksh and Amyra. They are also the main protagonists in our tale.

We will learn more about each of them as we get into their tales. Additionally, when we get to the finale of the tale, we'll meet up here once again, friends.

So let's find it out together! How each generation, from the first to the seventh, is impacted by these seven emotions and life philosophies. One soul has seven lifetimes, and they are all interconnected in my seven tales.
