The stories of supernatural power, the lives of gods & goddesses, life changing events and much more makes Hindu mythology a huge volume and a precious treasure which surrounds the mankind. Many writers, philosophers and research scholars from India and also from other countries have been actively involved in an in-depth study of ancient Indian mythology.

With more than 330 million gods & goddesses in the Hindu mythology, this subject gives a very vast view of the entire life cycle which exists on the earth. This book aims at giving a simplified yet detailed study of the most popular gods & goddesses of India. This book has been created with the objective of answering the spiritual queries put forth by the modern generation in context with the Hindu rituals, faith and stories. The exposure of television serials based on mythology has always drawn a higher interest of the audience. But when they want to dig further into the stories they have watched on television, they turn to books. So, the information has been presented in a very easy way for reader of any age group to understand.

I have tried to answer the reasons behind the existence of various divinities, Vedic culture, and the truth behind the existence of various forms of gods. We all know that Hindu mythology has many concepts which have proved to be scientifically correct and takes us back to those centuries when science wasn't known to anyone. Be it the theory of relativity or the scientific statements behind the creation of universe and other heavenly bodies, Hindu mythology has the apt responses for each one of these. Though the actual links could never been found but the traces and stories have always proved the superiority of Hindu mythology.

All these make our ancient script a very pious collection and a much soughed one amongst the countrymen and the tourists from abroad as well. This book is a one point drawer to know about the Hindu writings, traditions, existence, origin, divine spirit and much more. Also, for the convenience of readers we have added few chapters at the end which gives the information about the most popular temples and tourist places of mythological importance in India.
