Born in an army family, Rashmi pursued human resource for her higher education, along with labour law and labour welfare. Her professional training led her to work with an IT company for a few years, until she finally left for her love of music. Rashmi had also been training in music for many years. A couple of music albums, which were much appreciated, saw her as a full time artist thereafter.
An evolutionary disposition from the beginning had her writing quotable quotes about life from the tender age of 13. Her spiritual instincts only sharpened by the challenging years she faced as she journeyed along which she now terms 'mentally stimulating'. She realised that everything, was gently prodding her to finally reach her foreordained destination- of sharing the knowledge that she gained in her spiritual pursuits.
People often say to me that I don't look spiritual, but on occasions that solicit spiritual responses, they are startled. I presume at the depth of my content, the look on their faces almost accusatory, implying the words, 'Where did you get that one from... hahaha. I guess because I look like a normal person - no robes, no whites, or no half-closed serious eyes. Moreover, I take pleasure in what life has to offer and do not renounce the grace showered upon me. I wear what makes me feel like the earth-like its beautiful landscapes. I dance as if I was dancing to celebrate life. I laugh like a gurgling baby -like I was rejoicing innocence. I sit in silence sometimes, thanking the universe for having given me the wisdom to make peace with myself. Finally, I have to chuckle and say to those who tell me that I don't look spiritual -'I am like the leaf on the flowing river (rejoicing in the external environment) and the riverbed itself (deeply ecstatic in my inner worlds) - all rolled into one', and I am sure they understand eventually.
