Harindra Dave (1930-1995) was a poet, novelist, journalist, editor and translator. He enriched Gujarati literature through his writings. Primarily a lyricist, 'Love' and 'Death' are his concerns in his lyrics. He was a journalist by profession. He wrote a large number of essays on the themes ranging from an individual to the whole universe. He published many novels of which two Anaagat (1968) and Madav Kyany Nathi (1970) were awarded prizes by Government of Gujarat. Gujarat Vidyasabha awarded him 'Ranjitram Suvarn Chandrak' in 1982. He was awarded 'Maharashtra Gaurav Puraskar' and 'Harmony Award' in 1990 as well as 'B. D. Goenka award for excellence in Journalism' in 1991. He received 'K. M. Munshi Gold Medal', 'Shekhadam Abuwala Award for Journalism' and 'Kabir Sammaan' in the year 1992.
Sudha Niranjan Pandya taught Gujarati at the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda and retired as Professor and Head, Department of Gujarati. Sudha Pandya is a founder Trustee of 'Akshara' - a well-known literary organization of Vadodara and its President for the last ten years.
