Every letter (aksara), every word (pada) and every sound (sabda) within this creation, is an epithet of The Supreme Absolute Truth, Sri Krsna. Therefore, it is almost a foolish attempt to compile a kosa or a dictionary of the infinite names of the Supreme Lord, because it is impossible to do so. Lord Anantasesa upon whom the Supreme Lord, Maha Visnu rests, has not been able to exhaust the chanting of glories of the Lord even with his thousand mouths from time immemorial! However, we had to attempt so. This Pocket Harinama book has been specially prepared for the players of `Harinamamrta Scrabble' game who need a compact and practical guide to help them form the names with spelling as the available coins.

In these names contain the wonderful nectarean knowledge about the Supreme Absolute Truth that one can relish again and again. `Harinamamrta Scrabble' game is especially designed to facilitate the honeybee-like devotees, both young and old, to relish this taste within their heart and burp out the fragrant realizations.

To compile these wonderful names scriptures like Mahabharata (Visnu Sahasra Nama), Ramayana, Narada Pancaratra and Srimad Bhagavatam have been referred to. The names in this booklet are of a maximum of nine letters only. The players can use names of the Lord with a higher length in the game. As will be explained in the rules of the game, each player will have 15 letters to play at any given point of time.
