Fr. Emmanuel Ayankudy CMI was born in 1970 in Mangalore, India. He is a member of the Congregation of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate. Holds M.Ph and M.Th from Dharmaram Vidya Kshetram, Bangalore. Pursues Doctorate in Eucharistic Theology from JDV, Pune. He teaches theology and Philosophy and initiates seekers to Indian-Christian methods of meditation and prayer. Author of the book, 'An Email to Jesus' and many other scholarly articles.

I read this stimulating book with great delight and just pride. I am immensely happy to congratulate Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Ayankudy for his admirable contribution, philosophical in thinking, theological in content and deeply spiritual in approach. He has successfully made a significant synthesis of thought provoking reflections and faith deepening meditations. Every statement evokes always a deep sense of the Divine residing within us and enveloping us everywhere in manifold ways.
It is indeed an inspirational book that makes us reflect how we are intimately and incessantly connected to the power and presence of the Divine Master who is always in our boat, or better, how we are in His boat. The essential thread of thought that runs through every line strengthens our self — confidence and God confidence superbly. The author's consistent conviction that we are in God's lap of ever enveloping love and never failing care keeps us always in happiness and hope. This makes us vividly aware of the power of God's ever abiding presence in our life from birth to death, in success and failure, in Joy and sorrow. Fr. Emmanuel helps us get awakened to the manifold blessings we possess, though unaware often we are. We are commendably and constantly encouraged by the insights to be justly proud of the blessings we have and are invited to be blessings to others as much as we can and as long as we are able. To be a blessing to all always gives meaning to our life. The positive thought how blessed we are is deeply significant and highly stimulating.
