Bhupendra is an engineer, a seasoned business leader, an intense explorer into the nature of reality, and an enthusiastic lover of science. When he is not busy solving the problems of the business world, Bhupendra loves to spend time with people coaching them in maximizing their potential. He has had a long-term fascination with the developments at the crossroads of science and spirituality. His secret passion has always been to connect the dots between the outer frontiers of scientific research and the creative and living world of the human spirit.

He promotes the concept of spiritual leadership and calls himself the meaning and purpose' guy. At the heart of his philosophy is an alive, intentional, loving, and intelligent Universe which is creating and evolving all its creations, which includes all living and non-living things. Everyone has a purpose; the question is how to become aware of it and enable it to manifest in one's life. It has been his life-long dedication in helping people along this path.

Bhupendra has had an extensive career of more than two Decades with one of the leading multinational corporations. At present, he is working as the CEO of a well-known brand in India. Bhupendra is married with two sons, and he currently lives in Gurgaon, India.

This book in a culmination of intense self-reflection on nature of things over a period of two decades. It attempts to synthesize my learnings from science, quantum mechanics, psychology, philosophy, and spiritual traditions to answer the question of the true nature of reality and our role within that. An important part of this synthesis is my personal experiences, as I implemented what I learned in an otherwise innocuous yoga session way back in 2002. While I had always been interested in finding connection points between science and spirituality, primarily for the purpose of getting the deep insights from the spiritual world into my day-to-day life, this yoga program was the important step which moved me in the journey from. An intellectual plane to an experiential plane. This experience has taught me the absolute necessity of the experiential aspect, without which all this knowledge remains like dry information, separated from our daily decisions and actions.

As I dug deep into the various disciplines, as mentioned above, as also deeper within myself, mind-blowing insights began to appear which finally led to a massive paradigm shift. The big question that started this process was - is free will an illusion? This single question, which seems quite simple on the face of it, has many dimensions which has taken many years to unravel for me. In science and philosophy this is still a very hotly debated topic, still unresolved.
