The topic of this book is very near to the heart of the author. Actually this topic belongs not only to the author but do impact on all living and non-living entity. The planet earth has unique environmental system for the life, whereas other planets have only non living things. But the question was in the mind of author that how long we can survive on the earth. That's why this noble book has been written by the authors with noble contents and for the noble people, who even think about the protection of this planet. We are part of a cosmos system and became conscious we are inseparable part of environment. A human can feel and analyse the things with a physical body, which is made up with a great composition of the metals of this metallic world. It means our soul deeply interconnected with this cosmos and therefore ignoring metallic world means ignoring spiritual world.
There are some universal laws, which are mandatory for our survival. Every creation comes after imagination, that become a revolution and growth, which ends up for recreation. We must learn from the nature where nothing goes waste, every left over from a natural process or systems becomes the raw material for another process or may be the food for many others, but this planet is warming rapidly and changing the natural process. The all services given by environment are free from the divine nature but have intense value. This planet has the principle of balancing the physical and biological organisms, but humans are regularly breaking the laws of the nature and creating life path difficult for themselves. Earth provides enough to satisfy every man needs, but not every man greed. Our greed, ignorance and unnecessary consumptions are slowly destroying our planet.
Studies also show that species not only adversely effecting but they are becoming aggressive. Each and every cosmic life has been losing the duration of their life span. Although, history evidences are clearly shown that human civilizations come and go, planet earth spins for day and night regularly but this time even the holy river Ganga cannot wash our sin.

Mr. ARADHYA AGARWAL is an Environ- mentalist and student of law of 'Ideal Institute of Management and Technology & School of Law affiliated to Indraprastha University, New Delhi. He has a great skill of writing. As an environmentalist he has led to Tree Troopers Campaign' to save the trees and environment in NCR Delhi area.
It is said that we have not inherited the environment from our Court Asso ancestors but have borrowed it from the future generations. The environment we live in is beautiful and resourceful. It is home to a diverse variety of ecosystems. The closer one is to nature, the better life one lives. We are duty bound to preserve and worship 'Mother Earth' in all her glory. However, humans have let greed and avarice come in the way of environmental protection and preservation. It's important we use the resources in sustainable ways by being able to meet our needs, and at the same time not compromising needs of the future generations.
Climate change is real and it is happening. Global warming is at an all time high. Soaring temperatures and melting glaciers are a reality. Carbon footprint of nations is increasing rapidly. Urbanisation and development need not happen at the altar of environmental preservation. More often than not people find themselves on the wrong side because they are not aware of the consequences simple acts, such as burning of coal, have on the environment.
In such a context the book 'Environmental Spirituality & Life Span' is a welcome step. It gives a unique perspective into reasons for showing ardent concern for environment and showcases how it is intricate to our emotional well-being as well. The highly qualified and adept author Ms. Namrata Srivastava, and the skilled and capable Mr. Aradhya Agarwal, have done thorough research to come up with a balanced book. The authors deserve commendation for their efforts to create awareness in this regard. The book elucidates on various aspects of environmental damage. It also offers hope for various ways of sustainable development. It uses illustrations to make its case. The issues are of great value and relevance. I wish the book all the success it truly deserves.
Whatever is created is only the combination of the living entity and material nature. There are so many manifestations like trees, mountains and hills which are not moving, and there are many moving existences but all of them are just a combination of material and superior nature-the living entity. Without the touch of the superior nature, nothing can grow.
God- the creator, who is supernatural and a deity, sends humans on earth, which is the only known planet to live with a strong guiding principle to use its flora and fauna wisely and carefully. We humans having one soul which can feel, one mind which can analyze and understand and one physical body by which we can do a lot. Ecological renewable and sustainability are two main functions of ecosystem which actually depends upon spiritual consciousness. Environment do justice and fair dealing with its divine powers to all regardless nations, origins, law, policies, developments and especially what we return. Therefore all human being must realize his accountability and change approach towards environmental world. An individual karma during his life span life determines his future psycho- physical state and further good act results in happiness and spiritual development and evil actions only results in loss and sorrow. Animals, plants, mountains, rivers all forms of nature and many others are worshipped for the noble qualities them posses.
A celebration means a lot for us. An enjoyment of social gathering through festival, any holiday, an event, an adventure must be something more than just making pollution of any type. Most of them are just become spectators but no one realizes that their presence counts not only for the event but also for the destruction of the environmental world. Sanitation becomes a big problem during these events specifically when festive organized on islands, or nearby oceans, mountains. Imagine the population of audience during big concerts, Mega Events like FIFA, Olympics, Spirituals or religious concerts and the managements for food, accommodation, Sanitation, lightening, loud music, fireworks for them. Ample statistic, data released of the after effects of these events have raised the alarming situation of oceans and nearby waterways, forests and local species damage.
We must start understanding that these celebrations are part of life and Life is un-separated part of Nature. We have to change the mindset and set trade towards eco friendly for everything so that it becomes the habit of the new upcoming generations.
Everything on the planet earth, have obvious levels of consciousness. Environmental world is full of these high or low levels of consciousness and proves that their existence too. The earth can be seen as a manifestation of goddess, and must be treated with respect.
