The Mahaguru is none other than a humble and pious house-holder for all external appearances but internally a Yogi par excellence and the one who had a complete mastery over the "high-lanes and bi-lanes of Yoga". He was known as Sriranga to the society and Mama to the near and dear ones. The tiny village Hedathale near Mysuru is the place rendered holy through his birth in 1913 and holier through his wholesome life and spiritual teachings. For him, reaching the lofty Samadhi state-the pinnacle of yoga- and getting back to the mundane chores thus creating a Raja Marga (Royal Tra- jectory) was a task much easier than the daily routines of ordinary folks. Thus he was not only a Jnani of the highest order but a Vijnani too which according to him is the natural evolution of Jnana. As a Jnana-vijnana trptatma, he could discern effortlessly the origins of Bharatiya Samskṛti and Nagarikata the grand Culture and its manifest form of Civilization- designed by our ancient Maharsis.
