In our childhood some time, one must have asked his/her mother that how was he born or from where his younger brother or sister was brought in this world? For centuries the new life remained mysterious for philosophers and medicos - How a life begins? With the advent of X-Rays and Sonography this mystery has been solved layer by layer. Today this study has become so voluminous that it has been separated from Anatomy to be known as Embryology. Now with further advancements scientists are trying to open the congenital anomalies and the factors responsible therein. The mystery about the sex of a newborn baby has been solved successfully so the mothers are relieved from the cruel society for giving birth a female baby. Here I am presenting the basic knowledge of embryology for the beginners who are acquainted with the human body.

The diagrams are thankfuly based upon Grey's book of Anatomy and Prof Sant's Embryology for Medical Students, therefore are authentic to its core of the matter.
