Education is a human activity. It is considered as the most important investment. It is the foundation stone of intellectual power, philosopher, thinkers and educationist which shapes the power profile a nation in the comity of nations. Thus, it is rightly said that the progress of a country, particularly of a democratic country, depends upon the quality of its system of education. The system of education depends upon the thoughts of our philosophers, thinkers and educationist and for this reason, teaching is the noblest among all professions and services.
Education and development of personality are both conditioned by the philosophy and sociology of education. Education must enshrine all that is good and noble, socially and morally significant, and lead to the emancipation of the individual to promote the well- being of family, community, and society of which he/she is an integral part. As a philosopher, thinkers, educationist and social reformer, the teacher tries to mould and develop the child to help him grow into a respectable individual. This book seeks to interpret and explore the possibility of providing educational thoughts of the philosophers and educational thinkers.
