Sringeri Jagadguru Sri Vidyaranya is the author of the Madhaviya Shankara Digvijaya, the traditional biography of Jagadguru Sri Adi Shankaracharya.
Jagadguru Sri Vidyaranya's commentaries on the four Vedas as well as his independent works on Vedanta such as Panchadashi and Jivanmukri Viveka are testimony to his astounding knowledge. His works span various schools of philosophy.
