The vedas says the Great Divine Mother Goddess Devi Parashakti is the Eternal Infinite Consciousness, who created and manifested as the universe. All the gods and goddess are her manifestations. The Devi Mahatmya or popularly known as Durga Saptshati or Chandi Path, is not originated by human. It has no beginning. This book is an allographic attempt of Devi Mahatmya with original Sanskrit text with English transliteration and Hindi English Meaning for general readers and devotee of the Divine Mother Goddess. The book is created to help the readers to understand the devotional, symbolic, esoteric and analytical interpretations of the Great Goddess and Scripture. The book also contains numerous beautiful and deeply meant Indian paintings and sculptures images of the Divine Mother to understand the rich heritage and culture of the Devi Mahatmya throughout the centuries of our existence.

Manoj Singh is an IAS with over 30 years of experience in public service and policy making. He is wholeheartedly devoted to lifelong learning and pursues diverse subjects.
