Philosophy is not easy to understand for common people. That’s why eminent scholars from Sanskrit Literature and Philosophy tried to make it easy to all readers of society through the allegorical play. The 1st full fledged allegorical play came to light Prabodhacandrodaya written by Krishna Mishra on 12th century and later Sankalpasuryodaya by Vedanta Desika on 14th Century a great saint of South India. Here in this book I compared Prabodhacandrodaya and Sankalpasuryodaya. One is according to Advaita Philosophy another one Visistadvaita Philosophy. 1st chapter allegorical play in vedic age and its development. 2nd gist of Prabodhacandrodaya. 3rd glory of Sankalpasuryodaya, 4th comparison between two drama of various themes. 5th aesthetic comparison. 6th chapter role of women and nature. Conclusion.
