About the Book A quiz lover in the truest sense, Mr. Somnath Chanda has started his journey to the world of quizzing during his school days. A pretty regular face in the present quizzing-circuit, he has conducted more than 100 quizzes in different cities of India. After publishing two well-accepted books, this is his third venture to make quizzing more popular among the enthusiasts. Paraphrasing one of the iconic dialogues uttered on screen, the following line seems to very apt for the Three Khans of Bollywood- Kabhi kabhi jeetne ke liye kuch haarna bhi padta hai... aur haar kar jeetne waale ko KHAN kehte hai' (Sometimes to win you must lose something... and one who wins from a losing position is called a KHAN).

They are not just any ordinary names but engraved in the hearts and are minds of audience and will continue to be ever.

This is a humble effort from a fan-boy to relive some of the memorable (and not so memorable) Khan-moments in the form of some interesting quiz questions.

Foreword In 2015, I was invited by HIEST Shibpur, one of India's oldest engineering colleges, for the inaugural edition of their quizfest Gyandhara. The fest had an eclectic mix of quizzes and the only one I could take part in was the Sports Quiz. This event, which covered almost every sport played by humankind, was marked by the crisp nature of its questions, attention to detail and approachability. It was pleasure to sit through this quiz and it still rates as one of the most fun events I have been a part of. This was my first encounter with Mr. Somnath Chanda and the qualities that have made him a household name among India's quizzing fraternity.

Preface 28th December, 1895 was a landmark day in the history of mankind. On that day, the world's first commercial movie screening took place at the Grand Cafe in Paris. Made by the brothers Louis and Auguste Lumiere, who developed a camera-projector called the Cinematographe, it caught on the public imagination pretty soon. As per the records, a mere six months after that screening, cinema came to India in 1896.
