Book Description
PUBLISHER'S NOTE
After the publication of Bhavan's Eternal ValuesBooklets Series 1-to-18, the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan has pleasure in bringing out its Eternal Values Booklets Series: 19, by Poojya Swami Ranganathanandaji, under the title "The Christ We Adore". This book is based on a speech delivered by Swamiji at the Christmas celebration held at the Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Calcutta in 1954 and later published in the December 1955 issue of the Bulletin of the Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Calcutta.

the Bhavan has published this lecture in volume two of "Eternal Values for Changing Society – Great Spiritual Teachers" by Swami Ranganathanandaji.

We are greatful to Swamiji for having given his consent to our request to bring out this booklet as part of its Eternal Values Booklets Series.

As Swamiji says, "that Gospel of Jesus is a Gospel of Spiritual redemption. That Gospel has a meaning only when we feel the bondage of worldliness irk-some and heavy and seek for freedom in the freedom of God. There is the assurance given by the Master that we shall then get what we seek. To ask and seek and knock is our share, and to give and reveal and open is the Lord's. That is the Hindu way of acceptance and assimilation."
