Rather than dwell on the controversy over the existence of a causeway between India and Sri Lanka, The Bridge to Lanka takes us on a magical tour to experience some of the significant events that have been vividly set forth in the epic Ramayana.

The concept of a bridge to the island provides an ideal panorama for this journey.

The Epic says

It took five days for the army to complete the Bridge, with the expertise of Nila & Nala and guidance from Sagara. It was a curving Bridge covering thirty five kilometers over the sea, and from a distance appeared like an enormous forefinger pointing towards Lanka.

A Shiva Linga was consecrated at the base of the Bridge, before the army marched along the causeway towards Lanka.
