Publisher's Note

Bhagavan Buddha and Our Heritage is an article by Swami Ranganathannandaji, Vice-President, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, contributed to the Vedanta Kesari (September-October 1957). It is based on his speech at the celebration of the 2500th Birthday of Bhagavan Buddha at the Ramakrishna Math, Mylapore, Madras, on 30 May 1956. The article was last published in a booklet form by the Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Calcutta in the interests of a wider circulation. We are beholden to the Institute for according us permission to reprint the booklet. We believe and hope that this will be well received at the hands of the readers as in the past.
