What is God? What is creation? What is a human being? What is the greatest human goal? These are the questions which troubled man's mind since ancient times. Different texts answered in different ways. The Indian texts, called the Upanishads, used philosophical tools to examine these questions and tried to answer. The essence of the Upanishads is in the tiny book named The Bhagavad Gita, in the form of a dialogue between a warrior and a philosopher, the key characters in the Mahabharata war.
