To awaken our men and women is the first step towards progress. we must realize that we as Indian are not deprived of intelligence or glory of the country. Simply we are not aware of our greatness which is the cause of all troubles. Progress comes from confidence which is rooted in the pride born out of knowledge. Gurudev swami chinmayananda made us realize this fact.

Swamiji, who was and is our source of Inspiration, had asked all the youth to work for the country. We the members of CHYK were inspired by this vision which is encapsulated in one of his most powerful talks on rebuilding our nation which he delivered a decade ago. The excerpts of the same are given below to share out source of inspiration with all of you. To quote Swamiji.

“The Indian approach to life has a very film foundation and a strong edifice but has been for more than 1,500 years neglected, abused, and misused. The result is clear as it stand today as an ugly dilapidated temple of Truth. Today the occupants of the building feel no more pride in their sacred land nor do they feel any comfort and satisfaction to be under its roofs. We must again make this land as a platform for all the world leaders to think in the direction of Indian thought once the building is ready for living. This demands cooperation of one and all in this nation.

Can we inspire the necessary heroism in the hearts of all and the necessary muscle in the Indian body politic? We need inspired youth in small groups with vigour and determination demonstrating to the world the vision of a united awakened Indian nation.

It has been the tradition in the world that people come together in a spirit of co-operation only in the political and economic fields but never in the social revival nurtured by a purely selfless sense of reverence to the past. But that must change now and make all Indians work with the clear understanding of the goal national renaissance. Will the Indian youth come forward to suffer and strive in order to rebuild their nation?

Well! That was our inspiration. Our attempts are to make all Indian youth raise their heads and look at the history of our great nation. May we all get awakened to the glory of India! Look Ahead with the past unsurpassable glory.
