The lives of Mahatmas are always sources of great inspiration and wonder.

From the early years of His youth wandering near holy Ganga and sacred Kashi, impelled by a strong urge to find God, His travel to South India and His important encounter with the great three Masters, Mahayogi Sri Aurobindo, Sri Ramana Maharshi and Sri Papa Ramdas, the command " to reside permanently at the Feet of Arunachala inner the life of Yogi Ramsuratkumar written by Justice T. S. Arunachalam flows in a wave of inspiration.

The narration is not chronological and it makes the story much more interesting. The reader has snap shots of Sri Yogiji's greatness in very different times and situations.

The close proximity and familiarity of Justice and Yogi Ramsuratkumar make the narration remarkably alive. In many instances, we read the spoken words of Yogiji to Justice, and not hearsay talk as we find sometimes in spiritual biographies.

The narration of the relationship of Yogiji with Sadguru Gnanananda, J. Krishnamurti, Swami Nityananda of Ganeshpuri, Mayamma and other great Mahatmas is a joy to read. The heading" Paramacharya and Guru Maharaj " is a very exalted jewel in the narration, containing very intimate moments between those two contemporary pillars of Sanatana Dharma. It contains some very important hints by Paramacharya that throw light in our understanding of Yogiji.

We also find some almost secret and thrilling experiences that Justice had been fortunate to have in his Guru's company. Let me mention the extraordinary narration of Yogiji's Sacred Cosmic Dance as Nataraja in the inner quarters of Sannadhi Street. Every word fails to comment on the beauty of the description, a real boon for the readers.
