One unique example recently came to light in Bastar in Chhattisgarh where due to religious intolerance near Dantewada, the culprit pulled down one of the best Ganesh monolithic sculpture of the Chhindakanaga dynasty dating back to 1100 A.D. was restored in order to satisfy the sentiment of the locals, rebuilt the Ganesh statue within five days. We could see the joy in the eyes of locals.
Second case is about the recovery of sculptures from Kathua Pulia near Rajanandgaon. Third case was of Harappan skeletan from Lothal and Kalibanga and Neolithic burial from Burjhom.
'B' is the story of retrieving the priceless sculptures which man carved to worship and decorate the temples which were snatched out by the same mankind and used as building material by the same mankind but practicing different faith Man creates and then destroys himself. This is the story of mankind.
In our country many such locations are still lying unresolved and undue.
waiting for better people to come.
'C' is about the evidence at Mansar, near Nagpur where I excavated for Twelve seasons and the report is published in two volumes.
