The Poornaprajna Samshodhana Mandiram had organized workshop on Nyayamrta nd Advaitasiddhi in the month of March, 2010. A team of scholars participated in Nayaymrta- Advaitasiddhi workshop and healthy discussion. The Nyayamrta has established importance of the Pratyaksha in previous Prakaranas. Hence, Sri Vyasatirtha has examined the view of Vachaspati Mishra in Apachchedanayaprakaranam. Vacashpati remarks that the earlier one will be abolished with the new principle. The earlier Pratyaksha will suppressed by Advaitaagama. The Principle is accepted by Mimamskas in their respective texts. Sri Vyasatirtha remarks that we are not claiming superiority of Pratyaksha by only an earlier existence, but on the ground of Upajeevyatva. In Apachcheda Prakaranam, earlier one is not Upajeevyatva. In Apachcheda Prakaranam, earlier one is not Upajeevya. So the Advaita-agama will never spoil the importance of Upajeevya-pratyaksha. This is the essence of Apachchede-nayay-parkaranam.
