In her first book, Vanaja takes readers on a journey to a world of Hindu Mythology. She describes the greatness of Amanakosam, which was written by Amarasinha, a court-poet in the period of King Chandragupa II. It involves all the characters of Hindu Mythological epics.
Vanaja Teegavarapu completed her study of Amanakosam, Ashtadesa Punanas, Sri Devibhagavatam, Ramayana, Mahabharata, Bhagamata Panme and many more. Her articles were published in Bhavans Journal; some Telugu articles were published in Telugu magazines. All her articles are about the puranas, Carnatic classical music and temples in and around India.
