About the Authors 1.Justice S.N. Kapoor-M. Com., LL B. (a former Judge of High Court of Delhi)is presently a member of National Consumer Dis- putes Redressal Commission. Astrology is his hobby. Being Na- tional President of ICAS, he used to occasionally deliver lec- tures on Astrology on various topics. He was honored by Lal Bahadur Sastri Vidya Peeth, a Deemed University, by confer- ring an honoris causa Degree of Vachaspati equivalent to D. Litt. He was also honored by Shankracharya of Kanchi Kaama Koti with the Title of Jyotish Ratna. On recommendation of Late Dr. B. V. Raman, ICAS conferred highest title of Jyotish Martand awarded so far. Bharat Nirman has conferred title of Jyotish Pracharya. Several other organizations honored him by confer- ring on him several titles. He has to his credit a number of re- searches and regularly guides and encourages students into innovative researches. He has published a number of papers in Astrological Magazine, Jyotish Manthan etc. His papers on Busi- ness Ethics was published as Pilot Paper by Indian Institute Of Company Secretaries. He has presided over and inaugurated several Seminar on Legal, Economic, Health, Legal implications of Epilepsy and Euthanasia, Drugs, Medical Spiritual Topics he has delivered lectures in Various Universities, Various Colleges including Medical Colleges in and around Delhi

2. Shri Rohit Bedi - An Automobile Engineer Shri Bedi has also done courses in Printing Technology and Fashion Designing. He is Jyotish Vachaspati, Jyotish Kovid and Jyotish Visharad and teaches Astronomy, Predictive Astrology and conducts Post- Visharad classes.

3. Shri S.S. Rustgi -A Graduate of Commerce from Delhi University, he retired as Dy. Financial Adviser from Ministry of Defence.

Preface Our faculty felt that just taking lectures and passing examinations may not be sufficient unless and until followed by practical empirical studies by testing on the principles given in the classical astrological works. Students on their part usualy complain that one or the other dictum given in text though present in the horoscope but the results are not in line with classical work, making them doubt the very foundation of astrology and the veracity of the Astrological predictions. Students were adviced that the principle of the classical work is just one of the indications but not the only determining factor. These principles may be one mile stone towards ultimate destination: Other mile stones are also required to be crossed to reach the goal. It will be observed in various articles that in some cases all given principles apply while in others one or two do not apply but the results are 90% showing efficacy of the planatory forces making a person to move in a particular direction and respond in a particular fashion. The articles in this light may appear to be unique way of under standing impelling and compelling cosmic force to give better in sight to understand the Astrological principles.
