For some years now the Lalit Kala Akademi has been taking the National Exhibition to various venues in the country to encourage, support and build a meaningful involvement with the artists and art lovers beyond the country's mega-cities. We have been to Hyderabad, Guwahati, Kochi, Bhopal, Chandigarh and now for the first time an all India exhibition of contemporary Indian art is being held in the beautiful and historic city of Panaji, Goa.
The exhibition would not have taken place without the collaboration of the Kala Academy, Goa and the Directorate of Art and Culture, Government of Goa. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all those who worked tirelessly to make this exhibition possible.
