Anant Pai, also known as Uncle Pai, was a renowned educationalist and a trailblazer in the field of Indian comics. He is best known for developing two comic book series: Amar Chitra Katha, which recounted classic Indian folktales, mythological tales, and the life stories of historical figures; and Tinkle, an anthology of stories aimed at children.
