Geshe Lobsang Jamphel was born in Tibet and received his early education at Sera Monastery in Tibet. He fled to India after the Chinese took over Tibet and finished his education at Sera Monastery in Bylakuppe, Karnataka, one of the biggest Tibetan communities in India.
The lectures and publications of Geshe Lobsang Jamphel centre on various facets of Buddhist ethics, meditation, and compassion. His efforts have significantly contributed to the wider audience's exposure to the teachings and practises of Tibetan Buddhism.
