'Man and Woman in Modern Idiom' is a subconscious drama that has been projected on a canvas by very well known artist Anup Gomay. Two living beings are deceived under a curtain while a tie and ornaments have fastened them together as their hands emerge from the fallen drape. A sublime covered tail of two people. The woman's hand has fallen on the cord of heart-shaped leaves while the man's hand is moving elegantly. They are below the merlot material as the woman's long jet-black locks are shown on the canvas.
The motif of drapery has been taken from the renaissance period.
Drapes were central to the figurative and rhetorical intensity of the Renaissance. Hangings did not simply cover or reveal; it was inherently multivalent and paradoxical: cloth could stand for the corporeal form at the same time as diaphanous veils could blend into the atmosphere.
In Chinese culture mélange of red and gold colours are the symbol of joy and celebration. Together, they are used to spread the message of good fortune, wealth, illumination, and prosperity for everyone in the coming New Year.
