English is the most extensively. spoken language in the world today. Almost everywhere in the world-it serves as a language which bridges the communication gap. To express oneself effectively. in English, it is essential to have proper knowledge of the words and phrases that are used commonly.
If a person knows where and how to use the correct word-he should be able to express himself clearly. This clarity of expression is very essential if one wants to create an indelible impact of his personality on the other people.
The book "Difficult words, Meanings and Usage" is a collection of selected difficult words of English language. This book will be highly useful to the students as it explains the meanings of the difficult words as well as their usage. Through this book the readers will not only learn the meaning of the difficult words, but also their correct usage.

Anvita Agarwal is an upcoming author of English. She has done her Masters in English from Delhi University. But her desire to gain more education and knowledge didn't rest here; History being her another favourite subject-she did her Masters in History and thereafter M.Phil in History. Apart from this, she has also done short term courses in French and Journalism. She has also presented UGC programmes for the under graduate students on All India Radio, Delhi. She has been associated with UTV as a script writer and translator. One of her book titled 'Enhance Your Word Power' has been recently published and besides this many of her articles in Hindi & English also have been published in leading Newspapers.

The present book titled "Difficult Words, Meaning & Usage" is a collection of selected difficult words of English language. With these difficult words, their usage and meanings are also provided. The usage of the word is explained by giving examples. Through this book, the readers will not only learn the meanings of the difficult words, but also their correct usage. This book will help the readers to increase their word-power rapidly. This book will be highly useful to the students, as for as learning difficult words and their usage is concerned. The general readers and teachers will also find this book as very useful and informative.
This book would provide the necessary information to the readers and help them in enriching their knowledge. I would like to thank my mother Mrs. Rajeshwari Agarwal, my sister Nimisha Agarwal and Mr. Yogesh Kumar Kaushik, who gave me the inspiration to write this book.
